When it comes to my lips I can be quite boring at times as I do tend to stick to what I know (mainly pinks and reds) and not experiment! For this reason I decided to try out a new colour and when I saw M.A.C's Spirit Lipstick on a youtuber I instantly fell in love with it and decided I had to have it!

Spirit is a muted pinky brown colour which I think works well with a natural make up look. At £15.50 it is at the higher end of lipstick prices, but as it is a good quality lipstick I definitely think it is worth the price. 

 It is one of M.A.C's satin finishes and is quite matte but to my surprise isn't drying, which is something that I have experienced with other M.A.C lipsticks, in particular Ruby Woo.

Although I do like the colour of this lipstick, for my skin complexion I prefer to tone it down a bit so I tend to apply a light coat of it and then finish it off with a clear or clear pink lipgloss.
