Happy New Year my loves!
I thought a fun way to see in the new year would be to share with you a recap of all of my 2019 holidays and hopefully give you some destination inspiration for 2020.
Last year I really wanted to travel a lot more as exploring has always been something I find enjoyable. Therefore, for my first holiday of 2019 I decided that a quick trip out of London was just what I needed and what better place to visit than Paris!

Eiffel Tower
Even though I've been to Paris a few times before, I felt like I couldn't go again without visiting the beauty that is the Eiffel Tower. From the intricate architecture to the flashing lights I always end up being in awe when visiting the Eiffel Tower.
Les Ombres

Whilst on the Champs de Mars we really wanted to go for dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower and discovered the hidden gem that is Restaurant Les Ombres. Located on the roof terrace of the Quai Branly Museum, Les Ombres gives you the most magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower. The food was also delicious. The restaurant itself had a very nice and calming atmosphere and I would definitely visit it again anytime I'm next in Paris.
Vienna House Dream Castle Paris
For the duration of our trip we stayed at the Vienna House Dream Castle Hotel, a 4 star hotel located in Marne La Vallée. We chose this hotel as we were looking for something that was close to Disneyland Paris and this hotel is only a 2.4km drive away from the resort. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with a medieval theme fit for a little Prince or Princess. It also had a lot of amenities including:
A free shuttle bus to Disneyland Paris;
A spa and indoor pool;
Children's attractions including arcade games and a carousel;
Restaurants with a bar and terrace; and
Free parking.
Every time I visit Paris I find myself falling more and more in love with it. I truly believe I will never get bored of visiting Paris and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway.

Disneyland Paris
(Pictured ride is "It's a small world"- my favourite Disneyland Paris ride)
This time around in Paris, one of the main things that we wanted to do was to visit the place where dreams come true, Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park. I had been to Disneyland twice before (once in Florida and once in Paris), however I still found myself mesmerised once again as I truly love Disneyland! My favourite ride would definitely have to be "It's a small world". The parade which takes place everyday at approximately 5:30pm was amazing and definitely the highlight of our visit.
La Vallée Village
We concluded our holiday with a little bit of retail therapy. We decided to visit La Vallée Village, a leading boutique designer outlet in Serris. This outdoor shopping centre was one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. We had a really fun time looking around all of the shops and even grabbing some macarons from Ladurée.
